Sketch / Tala / Rebel Rebel: Under The Mistletoe
sketch London teams up with luxury lighting brand Tala and florist Rebel Rebel to create the festive "Under The Mistletoe" installation in the Glade restaurant.
Never one to shy away from the daring and the impressive, sketch has teamed up with Tala lighting and florists ‘Rebel Rebel’ to transform the Glade restaurant into an enchanted découpage forest’ during this year’s festive season for a limited six-week run. Guests will have the opportunity to dine under the mistletoe for the ultimate festive experience.
Tala’s new Basalt ceiling lights, inspired by the thousands of extruded basalt rock columns that make up the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, will illuminate through the Winter foliage, styled by renowned florists ‘Rebel Rebel’. Presented in the form of conifer branches, clematis vines and raken, the design aims to stimulate the growth of an ethereal tree within a snowy rock landscape.
Under the Mistletoe’ is part of the ‘Dulce Domum’ (lit. Sweet home) installation at sketch which presents six immersive installations this festive season, each a traditional Christmas scene with a twist. ‘Dulce Domum’, will be open to the public between Thursday 15th November 2018 and Sunday 6th January 2019.
