Eye of the Collector - 2024
For its fourth edition, the Eye of the Collector fair look over Chelsea Barrack’s Garrison Chapel in a unique showcase of collectible design. See below highlights and a short video tour from this year’s fair.
Founded by Nazy Vassegh, Eye of the Collector is an Art platform comprising a boutique London art fair and an accompanying online/social platform. The fair has quickly become recognised for its impressive curations and participating galleries, set against a beautiful backdrop of historic London architecture. For its fourth edition, the fair took over Chelsea Barrack’s 1859 Grade II listed Garrison Chapel, in the heart of one of London’s most luxurious and creative districts. See below just a few highlights and works from the 2024 edition as well as a short walkthrough video capturing the range of artworks exhibiting.
The latest edition had a stronger focus on international art and artists seeing the fair collaborate with new galleries for the first time, as well as continuing long-standing partnerships with previous exhibitors.
Nazy Vassegh, Founder and CEO of Eye of the Collector, said: “From the outset we wanted Eye of the Collector to be a successful, creative art platform for galleries, artists, and designers, and one that collectors look forward to and have a strong affinity with. To that end we are bringing a fresh, new perspective to our fourth edition and are delighted to curate a selection of works at our new home, the Garrison Chapel in the Chelsea Barracks. As well as having a broad spectrum of C20th and Contemporary British art, this year’s edition also places a greater emphasis on international art, with participating galleries from Europe, the Middle East and Asia for the first time.”
Participating exhibitors for 2024 included: Ash & Plumb, Based Upon, Bluerider ART, Canopy Collections, Dellasposa Gallery, Duende Art Projects, GBS Fine Art, Hafez Gallery, Julian Page, Lalique, Long and Ryle, Offer Waterman, Tanya Baxter Contemporary, Three One Four Studio, Vendelmans, Vigo Gallery, Whitford Fine Art and Zelouf & Bell.
