Masterpiece London 2015

Masterpiece, a fair of luxury arts, antiques, furniture and design.
I was very excited to be invited to Masterpiece London this year, my first time attending the fair. Whilst I have been to similar events, nothing compares to the grandeur and quality that is on display. There was such a diverse collection of brands displaying art, design and antiques covering every style and and category imaginable. Whether you are into your traditional designs and antiques or your modern art and sculptures, I would recommend visiting as there was something for everyone. Whilst there are far too many brands and collections to mention, there were two that really caught my attention (minus LINLEY that I will be featuring in an additional event blog). The Nilufar Gallery Milan had some incredible pieces on display including the second, third and forth images displayed below. I fell in love with their multi coloured light fittings that reflect shapes and shadows across their surroundings.
The second brand that I wanted to mention was the Long-Sharp Gallery. They had a piece displayed, created by David Datuna that stood out against the rest. The image was of Audrey Hepburn and it appears pixelated. As I moved around, the image appeared to transform and change. Upon closer inspection it was because the whole image was covered in hundreds of lenses that were focusing in on the dotted image behind it. It was such a fantastic event, I must thank the LINLEY brand for giving me the opportunity to attend.
