Asprey: AW17 Collection Preview
Posted on November 06 2017
Asprey launches their latest collection of designs and silverware accessories for their Autumn / Winter season at their New Bond Street Store.
The release of an Autumn / Winter collection is always an exciting point in the year, reminding us that Christmas is around the corner as our attention shifts to luxurious gifts for those that are closest to us. Earlier in the year, Asprey released their latest collection of designs covering everything from home accessories and silverware to fashion products and jewellery.
The brand's iconic range of animal head decanters continues to expand and is now available in lion, horse, ram, hound, stag, badger and fox head detailing. There are also additional coloured glass options in smoke and amber for select stoppers. The theme of lion heads continues into a wider range of products including a biscuit barrel, tray and cylindrical container, each with hand crafted animal detailing to complete each of the timeless designs. Other items in the new season collection seen above are the crystal glass collection with etched bubble detail and an impressive silver chest with rich decorative wooden inlay, perfect for storing precious possessions.
It would not be an Asprey collection without the inclusion of a cocktail maker or two. This year sees the addition of several impressive designs including the stand-out Pagoda cocktail shaker that sits in a separate silver base, with removeable roof lid and includes beautiful green and red enamel decorative detail. The Pagoda design also features in the "Asprey London: Workshop Tour" post, sharing a behind the scenes look into the Asprey workshops located above the New Bond Street Store. Other new cocktail shaker designs include the equally impressive bobsleigh and race car shakers. Those looking for something a little more contemporary will love the Hexagonal liquor set in amber crystal and colourful crystal boxes featured above. A simple way to inject colour and personality into a bar and dining collection, becoming the talk of the table.
The Queen's collection attracted much attention from guests with a series of porcelain bowls and champagne cups decorated in Marine blue and white stripe. The champagne cups also include 24-carat gold painted edges and interiors which are said to help emphasise the beauty and taste of a champagne. The Queen's collection was accompanied by another highly decorative set, this time in the form of hand painted exotic fish, each item with its own unique fish design.
